American Conservatory Theater - One of San Francisco's most prominent stages, ACT offers half-price "rush" tickets to our hostel guests and HI members. Simply go to the box office up to 2 hours before showtime, and showing your membership card or paid receipt from your current hostel stay. The price of your ticket will vary between $7.25 and $40.00, based on the day of the week and seating section you choose. Tickets must be paid for in cash, and are subject to availability. ACT is located near Union Square, 6 blocks from our hostel.

Cartoon Art Museum -The Cartoon Art Museum collects, preserves, and displays original cartoon art in all its forms. This is the only museum of its kind in the western United States, and it's been delighting visitors of all ages since 1984. Our guests get $1 off admission.

International Art Museum of America - Located in the heart of downtown San Francisco, in the mid-Market cultural corridor, the International Art Museum of America shares works of art from around the world that are beautiful and exquisitely crafted, in order to promote spiritual health and cultural development. Located just a few blocks from the hostel, the museum offers our guests $1 off admission.
Magic Bus - No visit to San Francisco is complete without a trip through the city's psychedelic past! Magic Bus, a tour bus operator that specializes in 1960s nostalgia, will take you on a ride through the streets of San Francisco, now and then. It's a hippie-dippie technicolor journey from the Summer of Love to the Millennium, by way of Union Square, Chinatown, North Beach, the Financial District, Haight-Ashbury, and Golden Gate Park. Our guests get a discounted rate of $30/ticket (regular price: $50).
Blazing Saddles Bike Rentals and Tours offers our guests a discounted rate of $18-22 per day (reg. $28-32) for city-ready mountain and hybrid bike. Helmet, lock, rear rack, camera bag, bungie cord, and map included in cost of rental. Performance, tandem, and other specialty bikes are also available.
