Our shared dorms are available in a variety of sizes. Gender-specific rooms have either 4 beds or 8 beds. We also have 3 co-ed rooms -- an 8-bed room, a 10-bed room, and a 24-bed room.
Our private rooms also come in varying sizes, including 2-person rooms with twin beds and 3-person rooms with a Houston bed (double bed with single bunk above).
Private rooms for 4-6 people may also be available, but can't be booked online; please call us at 1 (415) 771-7277 for details.
Our on-site cafe, Cafe Franco, has beautiful bay views and dishes up free continental breakfast, as well as lunch and dinner. We have a spacious, fully equipped kitchen, and our dining room doubles as a rec room, with a pool table and jukebox.
The large, comfortable guest lounge has a fireplace and park views, and our media room has a widescreen satellite TV, DVDs, and theater-style seating. Enjoy our outdoor deck with umbrella tables, and of course there's a National Park at your doorstep!
We offer free, fast WiFi in all of our guest rooms and common areas, plus we have internet terminals available for rent.
Activities and Tours
We know that travelers choose to stay in hostels not just to save money, but to meet other travelers! That's why we offer daily activities (walking tours, pub crawls, dinners, movies) where hostellers can mingle, explore the city, or get a local's advice. For more, see Hostel Activities.
We also partner with local tour operators to offer trips to Muir Woods, Wine Country, Yosemite, Monterey/Carmel, and more. See Day Trips.
